Tai Chi and Qi Gong are practiced by millions of people around the world. They can combine postural alignment, smooth and coordinated movements, mental concentration, and dynamic stretching with relaxation. Though it is suitable for any age, it is particularly beneficial for those over 50 years of age. It can improve health and help with many age related problems, such as fall prevention, stress relieve, pain, osteoarthritis, COPD, muscle strength, hypertension, cognitive performance and balance confidence.

In San Diego, there are free classes that Robert Nations currently teaches for older adults. These classes are free and offered through San Diego Continuing Education. Not only are these classes fun to take, but they are also a way to make new friends !
